Job Description:

Come join our awesome team as an Home Health Aide at Parker Skyview!! Offering a part time, every weekend dayshift and PRN!



Parker Skyview is part of Volunteers of America National Services which serves as the Housing and Healthcare subsidiary of the Volunteers of America parent organization.


The Home Health Aide role is to ensure that our residents receive daily nursing care and activities of daily living.

Pay: $21.00 per hour



Schedules
:



  • Every Sunday 7am - 3pm, 16 hours bi-weekly

  • PRN


Required Qualifications:




  • Ability to read, write, carry out directions, and work independently.

  • Demonstrate dependability, tact, and ability to follow instructions.

  • Customer service oriented.

  • Possesses coordination and dexterity required to provide resident care skillfully.

  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.


Preferred Skills:



  • Experience in the long-term care setting preferred.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Reliable mode of transportation.


Essentials:



  • Assist residents with activities of daily living.

  • Administer and/or assist with medication or treatments.

  • Document care or observations appropriately.

  • Assist with housekeeping tasks.

  • Able to serve meals to residents.

  • Immediately reports any suspected abuse or neglect per facility policy.

  • Accurately utilizes electronic systems of documentation as required per facility policy.
