We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented Regional Sales Director to grow sales and expand well beyond the Prologis industrial walls. As the Regional Sales Director, you will play a key role in supporting our growing sales team by creating a strategy to serve the industrial warehouse market. You will be customer facing alongside a sales team of 10-12 sales professionals charged with presenting warehouse solutions to any and all companies moving in, moving out, or operating in an industrial warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a remote sales team of highly motivated outside sellers, experience building and designing territories, and a proven track record of success driving teams into new and unknown sales channels.



Key responsibilities include:



  • Lead, Train and motivate a team of several Essentials Solutions Managers (i.e. territory sales professionals)

  • Meet and exceed the quarterly and annual regional sales targets

  • Create regional strategies to increase lead generation, qualified opportunities and win rates

  • Own and drive Salesforce adoption, data accuracy and pipeline management

  • Lead Broker strategy and engagement. Set individual goals and support building out a brokerage network that is mutually beneficial for both parties.

  • Design and drive ESM compensation and territory design in partner with VP, Sales to maximize revenue growth

  • Responsible for development and tracking of KPIs, Measures of Success, and key Leading Indicators to drive success and accountability




Building blocks for success




Required:



  • 12+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced warehouse, material handling, or pallet rack and storage solutions environment. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • 7+ years of sales management experience, preferably over a remote and complex sales organization.

  • Proven coaching and mentoring skills to build and lead a culturally, professionally, and geographically diverse team.

  • Complex, consultative or solutions sales experience required. Proven track record turning customer accounts into commercial opportunities

  • Knowledge of industrial warehouse operations, material handling, automation/robotics experience required.

  • Forecasting, pipeline management experience with a CRM system

  • Proven consultative sales experience, managing a sales cycle from end to end.

  • Travel requirement approximately 50% of time




Preferred:



  • A general understanding of Industrial Real Estate and Brokerage.



Hiring Salary Range of: $136,000 - $187,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI (Long Term Incentives)) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
