We’re looking for a Technical Analyst to join our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Analyst to play a critical role in enhancing our products by understanding and optimizing the integration events between them. This position will focus on identifying gaps in requirements and ensuring comprehensive knowledge of data flows, integration processes, APIs, and middleware solutions. You will be pivotal in bridging the gap between our development teams, Product Managers, Sales team, and Project Sponsors, ensuring our products not only meet business requirements but also deliver exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and technical teams, to gather and document detailed business, functional, and integration requirements.
Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and integrations, focusing on data flow and integration events.
System & Functional Specifications:
Develop clear, detailed, and comprehensive system and functional specifications that act as blueprints for system design, development, and integration.
Create process models, data flow diagrams, and other documentation to support system analysis, design, and integration efforts.
Implementation Support:
Work closely with developers and system engineers to ensure integration requirements, including APIs and middleware, are clearly understood and accurately implemented.
Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of enterprise solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Assist in creating test cases and scenarios to validate system functionality and integration against established requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
Serve as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements, project goals, and integration strategies.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update stakeholders on project progress, gather feedback, and discuss integration challenges.
Documentation & Training:
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and integration procedures.
Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of new systems and functionalities, including integration features.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct system-level acceptance and quality assurance to ensure that solutions and integrations align with business needs and requirements.
Identify, document, and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the testing phase, with a focus on integration-related concerns.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
1+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a complex product and technology environment with a focus on integrations.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of system analysis and design methodologies, particularly regarding integration platforms, technologies, APIs, and middleware.
Proficiency in writing clear and detailed functional and system requirements, especially those related to integrations.
Familiarity with business process modeling and data analysis tools.
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DevOps, JIRA, Aha!, Confluence) and diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, especially around integrations, APIs, and middleware, to non-technical stakeholders.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Coachable and eager to learn.
