Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various HR functions, from the employment life cycle to employee relations, learning and development programs, leave of absence, and compliance. This role requires a proactive individual who is a creative problem-solver and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties:

  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle, from job postings and candidate selection to onboarding and processing terminations.
  • Coordinate benefit eligibility and leave of absence information, ensuring smooth communication between employees, carriers, and internal departments.
  • Build relationships with managers and support their growth and development.
  • Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Work with the Talent and Development Manager to identify training needs and create employee development programs.
  • Develop employee engagement projects that expand company culture and morale.
  • Maintain accurate employee records.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer and support HRIS, improving processes as new releases happen.
  • Complete affirmative action and equal employment opportunity compliance reporting.
  • Monitor turnover reporting and identify areas for improvement across the company.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration; Or equivalent degree or work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong working knowledge of HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in UKG Pro and Ready a plus!
  • HR certification a plus (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Requires less than 10% travel.

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    Work is generally completed in an office environment. Frequent sitting, computer work and phone use are required, with occasional walking, standing, bending and lifting up to 20 pounds.     Salary:

    Commensurate with skills and experience. $65k- $75K annually, plus incentives
