Your new role
The Project Manager role involves overseeing all aspects of the construction process for life sciences facilities. You will be responsible for strategic planning, contract administration, cost control, schedule management, safety compliance, and quality assurance. Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and trust throughout the project lifecycle. You will also mentor and guide project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. This position will require some travel throughout the Southeast.
What you'll need to succeed
To be eligible for the Project Manager role, you must have a B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. You must also have at least 7 years of experience in the construction industry, with a significant portion of that time spent on life sciences or healthcare projects. You must have the skills to read and interpret construction drawings, negotiate and award subcontracts, forecast and manage project finances, and navigate the Southeast subcontractor and vendor market. Excellent organizational, administrative, and communication skills are essential, along with a proven track record of leading successful project teams.
