VIP is seeking a SAP Quality Business System Analyst to work hybrid in Billerica, MA 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
The Principal Business Analyst, SAP Quality Management (QM) will partner with the Core IT team and Quality business users to support and enhance SAP S/4HANA QM processes, participate in software product evaluations, project planning, application integrations, implementation, testing, trouble shooting, and support of the SAP platform. This position requires strong communications, planning and technical skills working directly with various levels of the business and external vendors.
This role will focus on SAP S/4HANA QM and Quality Processes functionality to include Production Planning, Manufacturing, Inspection, Quality Release, Returns requirements and integration to 3rd party systems/vendors (Fed Ex).
The candidate is expected to perform high-quality project and support work for his/her stakeholders, continue to build the SAP S/4HANA capability and foster its continued growth within the Organization.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
IT Primary S/4HANA Technical point of contact for the Quality function business stakeholders.
IT Lead of the Quality workstream ensuring the designed and implemented end-to-end Quality processes enable to build a core-model solution focused on industry best practices and keeping SAP S/4HANA solution the most standard and maximize the value of the SAP S/4HANA solution.
Develop the relevant reporting IT Quality capabilities for the business.
Master of SAP S/4HANA QM/TM functionality.
Act as a liaison between the Quality business functions and the technical team.
Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
Lead Quality function partners through the definition and design phases of any changes on the SAP S/4HANA environment including analyzing current/new business processes, documenting configuration and extension requirements for the application as well as data and integration requirements and produce functional requirement documents.
Facilitate the implementation and support of the Core Manufacturing/Quality solution, (Configuring, Designing Building, Testing and Deploying) ensuring it works seamlessly by partnering with Service Provider.
Map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy needs.
Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
Identify business and technical issues of the SAP S/4HANA Production Environment that could impact requirements, scope, and identify potential solutions.
Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Continually assess the impact of emerging SAP technologies against strategic business needs and interpret business value for the IT management.
Execute methodologies (i.e., Agile, Waterfall) and practices for the application life cycle management in line with best practice and practical experience of continuous improvement.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment.
Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests, and Regression tests
Good understanding of Life Sciences guidelines including GAMP, 21 CFR Part 11 etc..
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Maintain knowledge of compliance and ensure all work activities are conducted within the regulatory requirements, related policies and procedures, and corporate objectives
Responsible for executing good development and documentation practices
Effectively evaluate and shift priorities appropriately based on multiple considerations and changing demands
Assist in training and knowledge sharing for areas of expertise with other colleagues
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an SAP S/4 HANA Cloud 2022 vs or higher with focus QM tasks in MM, SD, EWM, ITD Business Analyst with an emphasis on the Life Sciences industry
Expertise and experience within the following areas: SAP S/4HanaQuality Management and transportation processes
SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2022 or higher with focus on FIORI applications and working in a GXP SDLC and SOX compliance experience required.
Flexibility with scheduling requirements for support typically Mon-Fri, but may include evenings, weekends, shifts, and/or holidays. Some non-routine overnight travel based on business need travel may be required.
Thorough knowledge of the software development life cycle and process improvement methodologies, including iterative development practices
Commitment to requirements management practices with the ability to control project scope
Excellent oral and written skills for use in writing detailed business requirements and presenting solutions to business users and IT team members
Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving capabilities in applying practices and procedures to project need
Experience with business process modeling and process improvement
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply processes and methodologies
Understanding of web technologies. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, web application servers a plus
Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry is a major plus
Must be able to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
Agile methodology knowledge is a plus
