Our client is seeking a Strategic Program Manager in Burbank, CA / New York, NY / Orlando FL / Hybrid.
Role Description
• Lead program planning and strategy, including resource identification and forecasting.
• Establish and track key performance indicators to monitor project health and status.
• Analyze data to produce actionable insights and propose solutions for identified issues.
• Manage the Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions (RAID) log, facilitating resolutions in collaboration with project management teams.
• Communicate project status and escalations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Build and deliver impactful presentations for very senior audiences, translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
• Collaborate with business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers to foster strong relationships across the organization.
• Drive execution of complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project vision, objectives, and expected outcomes.
• Develop governance practices to monitor projects and ensure proactive scheduling of deliverables.
• Oversee project financial forecasts, resource plans, and expense tracking.
• Implement process improvements in project management to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Foster a self-organizing team environment focused on continuous learning and delivering value.
Skills & Requirements
• Education Requirement: BS
• 10+ years managing large, complex technology programs within Fortune 50 companies
o Big 3 or 5 consulting experience highly preferred (McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), and Bain & Company)
• 3+ years in a delivery leadership role.
• Familiarity with modern project management tools (e.g., Clarity PPM, Smartsheet, MS Project Online) and collaboration software (e.g., MS Teams).
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguous work environments and drive results.
• Extensive experience building impactful presentations for very senior audiences.
• Excellent collaboration skills in a matrixed organizational structure.
• Results-oriented with a proactive, action-biased mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong resilience and adaptability in challenging circumstances.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, adept at engaging both technical and business audiences.
