BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB

As the VP of Real Estate Management, you are responsible for effectively managing and directing the activities in a region or market. You are responsible for the overall review of each property within their region regarding financials and comparison of how they relate to the budget.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a division or region within their department.
  • Creates Objective & Key Results (OKRs) for their division.
  • Responsible for carrying out the goals set by the Top-Level/Executive Management team by setting goals for their division and help motivate and assist Mid-Level Managers to achieve the company objectives.
  • Focused on current implementation of company initiatives.
  • Focused on formulating the company's division agenda.
  • Responsible for examining and evaluating the company's process.
  • Responsible for solving problems such as, where are the shortfalls & bottlenecks, what's working & what's failing.
  • Create and update schedules and budget, for each property, within the division or region within their department.
  • Organizes the production of the workflow in a region or market.
  • Responsible for oversight and review of all property budgets within an assigned region.
  • Responsible for working with local managers and facilities to evaluate capital needs and planning capital projects.
  • Responsible for working with the leasing and development departments to evaluate tenant buildouts, white box needs and overall leasing plan for properties within the region.
  • Ensures that properties operate within any applicable local state and federal law.
  • Reinforce company values of professionalism and respect for tenants and employees at all locations.
  • Manage the high-level operations of the buildings as assigned which includes and is not limited to supervision of the onsite property Real Estate Managers and staff.
  • Coach, guide and direct local property managers. Provide managers with material and managerial support.
  • Assist property managers in resolving personnel issues regarding performance evaluations, employee disciplinary actions and performance issues.
  • Travels to and conducts site visits to obtain an overall understanding of properties within an assigned region.
  • Consolidates properties within the region to oversee the regional budget.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience and/or Training

  • Seven to ten years hands-on, direct experience in acquisition, development, leasing, management, financing, and/or sales of real estate.
  • Exposure to the evaluation and remediation of environmental risks.
  • Excellent client-service and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building consensus among constituencies with conflicting goals.
  • Highly motivated individual who can work with considerable independence.
  • Strong commitment to a team-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed

Technology/Equipment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

  • U.S. Work Authorization (required).
