Your Role:



This position is responsible for in-process product, raw material, finished product and water testing. The shift for this role is Friday - Sunday 7am - 7pm.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Perform environmental monitoring in support of commercial filling activities and routine environmental monitoring program.

  • Must immediately notify supervisor if affected by infectious disease or open lesions on body, as individuals are not permitted to enter manufacturing areas or handle product if these conditions exist.

  • Perform endotoxin, identification, bioburden assays on in-process and raw materials (including water).

  • Perform preservative effectiveness, sterility, endotoxin, particulates etc. testing on finished products.

  • Write, review, and execute microbiology protocols in support of environmental qualifications, experimental studies, and method revalidation activities.

  • With guidance, writes/reviews/ and edits ACM, ICM and SOP documents.

  • Provide Microbiology support for Manufacturing and Validation activities.

  • Performs media fill testing in support of Manufacturing and Environmental Monitoring programs.

  • Technically train other EM analysts.

  • Performs EM data review and trending data entry.

  • Handling of wastes including hazardous wastes. Attend annual hazardous waste training meetings.

  • Responsible for adhering to the Environmental, Health and Safety program.




Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Microbiology, or other Life Science discipline.




Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience following standard operating procedures.

  • Experience with scientific method.

  • Experience designing and executing environmental excursion investigations.
