Major Duties :1.\tDevelop, cultivate and manage relationships - both existing and new - to achieve and exceed sales targets.\n\n2.\tLead tactical initiatives to grow the use of FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions and Northern Funds across all major channels (RIA, Independents, BDs, etc.).\n\n3.\tEffectively position and differentiate FlexShares ETFs, Northern Multi Asset Class Solutions and Northern Funds products and services against competitors' products, by utilizing strong investment, capital markets and investment management industry knowledge.\n\n4.\tDevelop and maintain relationships with advisors by telephone, e-mail and in person.\n\n5.\tTravel as needed to participate in industry conferences and client seminars. \n\n6.\tReport weekly activities, accomplishments, and opportunities through the CRM. \n\n7.\tPartner within a regional team structure. \n \n8.\tAs subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level\n\n9.\tMaintain balance between high level operational execution and development, and execution of strategic direction of business function activities\n\nKnowledge :Knowledge of investment management areas across all products and segments such as fixed income, active and passive equities, cash, securities, and international together with other Northern products and services, usually acquired through related work experience, is required to respond to client's needs.\n\nSolid sales ability and channel/firm platform knowledge\n\nExcellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to sell over the phone and in person\n\nStrong work ethic, motivated and committed to excellence \n\nAbility to work in a team environment\n\nExperience :A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required. 5+ years of investment industry experience and direct intermediary sales and territory management experience with an ETF, mutual fund, separate account, or hedge fund distributor preferred
