Responsible for up-keep and maintenance of all production and facilities equipment to allow for maximum efficiencies within established quality and safety standards.
This position pays up to $30 per hour (based on experience).
Currently filling positions on 3rd shift.
Days scheduled would be Sunday nights - Thursday nights
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies and procedures
Repairing and maintaining plant machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications
Responding to all maintenance issues throughout the plant
Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participating in the safety program
Effectively communicating work performed and equipment statuses both written and verbally
Work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed
Wear the necessary Personal Protection equipment (PPE) i.e.: hard hats, safety glasses, face shield, chemical suit, respirator, ear plugs, hearing protection, steel-toe boots or safety shoes and other PPE required by specific jobs
Trouble shoot and repair production equipment, this would include diagnose and resolve issues on electro/pneumatic/mechanical devices.
Independently troubleshoot/diagnose and repair issues on equipment
Implement planned equipment upgrades under the direction of Engineering
Complies with all applicable standards such as USDA, FDA, relevant CFRs, GFSI, and other applicable customer requirements
Adheres to HACCP, Allergen Control Program, GMPs, product specifications, and other QA plans and required process control procedures to insure processes, work in progress, raw materials and finished goods meet the specified quality and standards.

IDEAL CANDIDATE SPECIFICATIONS:
The candidate should have the ability to interact with co-workers and establish a good working relationship with peers and supervision.
At minimum, possess high school diploma or GED.
Preferred candidates will have experience in a food or other type of manufacturing operation.
Candidates must pass required maintenance competency testing (Ramsay Corporation).
