We are a dynamic hybrid workplace environment that requires at least 2 days a week in the office.

As a Federal Reserve System National Business Line, it is standard practice to post FRFS positions in all twelve Districts to provide transparency and equitable opportunities for all FRS employees to apply. Internal candidate(s) selected for this position will remain employed by their current employing District and serve as an employee of FRFS. The selected candidate’s new job title and associated pay range will be determined by the employing District and will continue to be subject to the employing District’s people policies and practices (i.e., remote/hybrid work posture, etc.).

Summary:

Provides diverse and confidential administrative support to Officers and department staff that is highly technical, complex, and often confidential. Maintains schedules, supports meetings and conference calls, coordinates travel arrangements and reimbursements, files and performs other routine and complex administrative tasks. Maintains records for Officers in compliance with Records and Information Management requirements. Produces high quality reports, presentations, or other documents as directed by management. Assists with special assignments as requested and routinely handles sensitive information. Typically reports to a VP or higher.

A requirement of this position is that the employee must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualify for an accommodation from the Bank’s vaccination policy. To provide for the health and safety of its employees and support the Bank’s mission to the greatest extent possible, the Bank decided to adopt this requirement after careful review of public health information, workforce data, employee feedback, and the Federal Reserve System’s pandemic recovery plans. Responsibilities:


  • Provides diverse and confidential administrative support to the officer(s) and department staff that is technical, complex, and often confidential. May complete the following based on officer request: maintain schedule, support meetings and conference calls, coordinate travel arrangements and reimbursements, and performs other routine and complex administrative tasks. Handles confidential and complex information in accordance with information security policies and procedures. Often coordinates events and interacts with influential leaders within and outside the Bank.


  • Completes special projects for senior leadership as requested. Produces high quality reports, presentations, or other documents as directed; consistently provides analytical support for these projects and coordinates daily, weekly or monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders as needed.


  • May lead projects or identify process improvements to enhance inefficiencies. Demonstrates a focus on promoting collaborative work and team environments. Influences outcomes and takes a proactive approach to handle ambiguous information and/or assignments that require individual research and collaboration with stakeholders.


  • Performs research and analysis needed to respond to requests for information including District, System, and external requests, using a variety of available technology tools.


  • Writes clear documents using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling; communicates effectively with others on an individual basis, as well as in small and large groups; organizes and plans work to meet deadlines; establishes and maintains working relationships with colleagues, staff in other departments, and external parties; represents the Division with diplomacy and tact; maintains confidentiality of information.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: Eight or more years preferred.

Technical Skills:


  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (including SharePoint)


  • Knowledge of Bank applications (FedLearn, Event Management, etc.)
