Job Description:


  • Operation of the saw area will include: blackout unit operation and drum reloading, rubstrip unit operation and drum reloading, ink jet printer setup and maintenance, turn on/off conveyors, quality checks, logging/entering/reporting scrap, controlled shutdowns, operation of dust collector, line changeovers, change sawblades, ignite torch, setup/adjust saw sensor system, adjusting saw cuts, help with die changes, attend team meetings, help with training, clean sawhouse and lube rails daily, help maintain oven, keep saw house and mainline areas clean, keep rollers clean from blue film, glue and blackout, report maintenance needs.
  • Operation of the Foam Head Area will include: line start up, part selection, line speed control, foam system, aqua therm unit control, paper splices, hot melt unit, preheat controls, blue film splices, help with training, quality checks on profile/paper, data logging into vorne, lock-in parts in pre-notch, end of run shut down procedures, line changeover, attend team meetings, bar changes, oven control, mill control, help with bar cleaning if needed, checmical room understanding, help maintain oven, area cleanup, report maintenance needs
  • Operation of the Press Area will include: press setup/shutdown, die change, line changeover, prenotch control and maint, embosser operation, uncoilers, steel splice on the fly, crane inspection/operation, sling inspection, help with training, open steel coils, hang steel coils, steel inventory management, attend team meetings, cleaning bars, managing/hanging paper coils, maintain clean area, report maintenance needs, clean bar station. Responsible for assigned area start up procedure and end procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Keep others informed of safety hazards in your work area
  • Training is required for controlled shutdowns, emergency shutdowns, lock out tag out, and craine use. After completion of training the employee is responsible for these procedures when required or necessary.
  • Assist drum change with team lift.
  • Stack empty pallets for removal each day.
  • Verify product specification and product quality through inspection, observation, and measuring work pieces.
  • Adjust machine / equipment performance to meet product specifications and quality standards.
  • Utilize hand and power tools, cranes, and other material handling devices for manufacturing assistance
  • Must wear the required PPE for each assigned area.
  • Must follow proper safety techniques for the job assigned, keeping safety at the forefront for all team members.

  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED
  • Industrial manufacturing experience desired
  • Able to read and understand work instructions in English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
  • Frequent bending, pushing / pulling, reaching and lifting periodically up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand on feet for up to 90% of shift.
  • Frequent bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Ability to frequently lift/push 50 pounds and up to 75 pounds occasionally

Regularly lifting up to 35 pounds


  • Preferred High School Diploma or GED
  • Industrial manufacturing experience desired
  • Able to read and understand work instructions in English
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
