SUMMARY



With guidance from the Quality Program Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for ensuring optimal daily operations of the Utilization & Quality Review program, and contributing to its long-term success



STATUS: Full Time



LOCATION: 330 Monroe Ave Rochester, NY



DEPARTMENT: Home Care - Utilization & Quality



SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, Days 8 AM to 430 PM



ATTRIBUTES



  • AS in Nursing OR BS in Physical Therapy OR BS in Occupational Therapy OR BS in Speech Language Pathology required.

  • Three [3] years minimum of Home Health quality review involving coding and or OASIS review required.

  • Home Health field experience preferred.

  • ICD-10 coding certification preferred

  • OASIS certification preferred


RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Plans and monitors daily staffing and workload distribution to ensure timely and efficient completion of high quality work.

  • Stays current on relevant rules/regulations, OASIS, HIS, ICD-10 coding, PDGM, and VBP; and advises Director on changes necessary to the program's continued success.

  • Assists the Director in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, workflow changes, and continuous improvement efforts.

  • Provides daily and long-term support and coaching to direct reports to optimize employee engagement, as well as evaluating employee performance.

  • Assists the Director in hiring and training new team members.

  • Participates in and/or contributes to projects and initiatives across the Agency. Assists in the development and implementation of education for clinical operations staff.
    • Assists staff in the completion of the program's daily work. Stays proficient in order to do this effectively.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.



PAY RANGE: $76,500.00 - $105,000.00

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
