Troubleshoot using working knowledge of programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Perform plumbing and pipefitting duties as required on plant piping, such as water, air, gas and chemical lines
Operate and repair electrically and mechanically, all compressors, sprinklers, cooling towers and pumps as needed
Read and interpret machine electrical and mechanical drawings
Read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams
Installation, modification and fabrication of equipment and systems to meet production needs and schedules
Welds and fabricates as necessary for repair of projects
Maintains interior and exterior of buildings including windows, drain spouts, roofs, floors, ceiling, etc
Inputs and retrieves information from management
Participates in continuous improvement in safety, quality and housekeeping
Performs preventative maintenance as directed
Performs various inspections on safety equipment
Requisitions material, parts, and tools
Communicate clearly from one shift to another and to crew leader and supervisor/manager
Coordinates the scheduling of repairs
Actively participates in adhering to plant housekeeping requirements by picking up trash, sweeping work areas, and returning materials and equipment to their proper location
Reads and comprehends instructions regarding new equipment, equipment changes and/or procedural changes
Other tasks determined by management
