The Senior Warehousing Manager position is a critical role in DuBois Chemicals' logistics structure, serving as the primary liaison for issues regarding warehousing in all sectors and modes of the business in the US and Canada. This position manages all aspects of warehousing processes including replenishment, management, order flow, and issue resolution. A successful manager in this position will create and maintain an efficient network of best-in-class warehouses with a strategy to minimize cost and days to deliver across the network. In this position, it will be critical that the manager maintains the distribution and transportation operations that support our global logistics footprint including freight between facilities and direct deliveries to customers. An ideal manager will create an accountability structure within the network and maintain the relationships required to keep the business running efficiently. This position carries all budgetary responsibility for the warehousing network including inventory and expense. The Senior Warehousing Manager works as the primary escalation point for all warehousing facilities in the network and is the focal for project consolidations and footprint optimizations.
Core Responsibilities
Responsible for the management and deployment of our 3PL and DuBois staffed internal operations warehousing network throughout the US and Canada
Maintains and manages the network budgetary responsibilities for both inventory and expense
Main escalation point of contact for sales, customer service, ops management for warehouse related questions and concerns
Maintains monthly Key Performance Indicators for each location
Responsible to assure full adherence to health and safety policy and procedures
Coach, develop, engage and retain a team of employees
Work with integrations team to develop pathway for integration regarding warehousing
Requirements:
Knowledge and Skill Requirement
5+ years in a Warehouse management position with multiple facility responsibility
Knowledge and experience in management of ERP/WMS software
Proficient in standard business office software - Excel, Word, etc.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience working with 3PL logistics partners
Proven ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
Record of successfully collaborating with and influencing senior management and peers
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
Able to perform financial calculations and create and manage budgets
