Education: Required - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Human Resources, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business/Administration, Engineering, Management; or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional Workday experience, preferably within Information Technology in a troubleshooting/ticketing system or security/entitlements or similar role.
Preferred Certifications: Workday Pro Certified in either HCM, Finance, or Prism.
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Administrator to join our team. The Workday Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, working out of a ticketing system and overall administration of the Workday system. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure the effective use of the Workday platform.
Critical Action Items:
1. Configure, maintain, and support the Workday HCM system, including Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, and other modules.
2. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to gather and document business requirements for new functionality or system enhancements.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
4. Manage and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry best practices.
5. Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for end-users to enhance their understanding and utilization of Workday features.
6. Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
7. Design and generate custom reports and dashboards to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
8. Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and implementing necessary controls.
9. Monitor system performance and proactively address any potential issues.
10. Stay current with Workday updates and new features, recommending improvements to optimize system usage.
Requirements:
1. In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM configuration and administration.
2. Experience with Workday modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking & Absence, and Compensation.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
6. Workday certification is preferred in either HCM, Finance, or Prism.
7. Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.
8. Proficiency in creating complex reports and dashboards in Workday.
9. Experience in working on tickets from a ticketing system.
