YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stock Management:
Oversee stock maintenance ensuring supplies are at optimal levels.
Establish and adjust stock levels and reorder points using established formulas.
Conduct physical inventories maintaining accurate inventory records.
Procurement Coordination:
Review documents specifying supplies or materials needed for operations.
Assemble and collate lists of equipment and parts needed for acquisition.
Initiate, prepare, edit, and process requisitions to supply organizations.
Documentation and Reporting:
Process documentation for stock item receipts and maintain records in supply room.
Keep local stock records and reorder supplies when levels are low.
Prepare standard reports detailing variances between actual and estimated costs.
Customer and Supplier Communication:
Contact customers, supply organizations, and transportation units for material status updates.
Follow up on urgently required items and expedite delivery to work sites.
Equipment Oversight:
Maintain accountabilities for all accountable and durable equipment.
Identify requirements and requisition office and administrative supplies as needed.
Productivity & Compliance:
Adhere to productivity standards and maintain a level of performance consistent with other team members.
Ensure compliance with health, immunization, and vaccination requirements, and complete all specified DoD, DHA, and MTF training.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent with at least one (1) year of college or vocational training.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in inventory management as a supply or warehouse manager within the last three (3) years.
Licensure & Certifications:
Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
Skills & Competencies:
Detail-Oriented:
Ensure accuracy in inventory and stock management.
Organizational Skills:
Maintain structured and efficient inventory systems.
Communication:
Effectively communicate with team members, supply organizations, and transportation units.
Confidentiality Awareness:
Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient confidentiality, ensuring all patient interactions and records are managed with discretion.
WORK CONDITIONS:
Location:
Work will primarily be performed at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) and affiliated facilities within a forty (40) mile radius with potential assignments based on operational needs.
Schedule:
Hours may vary based on mission requirements, including surge support during mobilizations and demobilizations. Flexibility is required to meet mission demands.
Compliance:
Follow government, DoD, and MTF clinical standards, and record work hours accurately in DMHRSi and other required systems.
