This is a regular part-time 24-hour nightshift position (12-hour shifts, 7:00 pm - 7:30 am). An ED tech is a healthcare professional who assists emergency room (ER) doctors and nurses with delivering medical care. ED techs keep the ER clean and organized and assist with basic patient care. Also known as emergency department technician, ED technician, ER technician, or ER tech.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GED from accredited school is required
Certificate from Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program required
Willingness to cross train as Unit Secretary
Previous experience working as an EMT-B or CNA required. Experience with starting IVs is necessary
Computer experience
Licensure/Certifications:
Emergency Medical Technician Basic (EMT-B) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License required
BLS required
