Shift: This role is 1st Shift, 7:45 AM-4:15 PM

Hourly Rate: $28.60 an hour

You will work onsite to support the Centralia, IL Duncan Hines facility in the creation, implementation and standardization of the Continuous Skills Development process. The intent is to create a learning environment where everyone is learning and teaching others to achieve results by ensuring standard work practices. You will report to the human resources department with some accountability to the Continuous Improvement Manager.

You Will:

• Lead the training and developing of new and current employees

• Lead a Continuous Skills Development pillar team in bi-weekly meetings

• Develop validations, playbooks, and training materials with the assistance of subject matter experts on the floor

• Identify "Best Practices" in our training process

• Implement and maintain a document library

• Ensure documentation of all training though computer-based learning management systems: Alchemy

• Lead the skills validation team to conduct skills audits

• Provide and react to metrics to assist plant operations in prioritizing training

• Monitor and react to monthly and shift score cards used to set goals for each department

• 50% of daily work will be on the production floor, directing and coaching

• Work with skills development teams in other plants and with the Corporate CSD/CPS Team

• Ensure that CSD metrics are updated weekly and create / implement action plans for any metric gaps

You Have:

• High School Diploma / GED


• College degree preferred


• Technical knowledge of iPads, Microsoft Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and learning management system software

• Ability to work different shifts when needed
