The Senior Director, Supply Chain Analytics will be responsible for leading efforts to evaluate complex supply chain scenarios that span from pharmaceutical manufacturer to distributor to provider to patient. The Senior Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and will closely partner with various business unit leaders and functional leaders to identify and collect quantitative and qualitative information related to opportunities and/or issues related to achieving the 6 Rights of healthcare supply chain excellence. The Senior Director will lead other analysts, project managers, and technical teammates from various business units as those resource actively participate in assisting with assigned problem statements, developing solutions and establishing fact-based control measures.
The Senior Director must have proven experience evaluating and solving multiple complex problems within a healthcare related supply chain. The Senior Director will have exceptional skill sets and capabilities evaluating complex healthcare finances advanced inventory analytics and applying volumetric supply chain interactions to fully understand cost and risk factors. It is essential for the Senior Director to have an exceptionally strong healthcare business acumen and a deep domain understanding of systems architecture and data flow.
Essential Functions and Duties
Collaborating with business stakeholders to clearly understand and document the specific opportunity or challenge to address.
Lead the identification and collection of quantitative and qualitative information and data related to specific opportunities.
Assess opportunities to identify all quantitative and qualitative benefits and costs of potential improvements, as well as associated risks of possible solution sets.
Working with business stakeholders and team members to clearly articulate proposed solution concepts and along with financial and business justifications.
Identify win-fast / fail-fast approaches to validate solution concepts and to refine long-term solutions.
Bridge business concepts to higher detail requirements sufficient for development professionals to provide detailed designs and level of effort.
Coordinate resource planning among development professionals.
Developing workplans with associated resource needs, timing, funding, and supporting initiatives to deliver a solution.
Oversee and actively leading workstreams of assigned initiatives to ensure that work is performed in an Agile and safe-to-fail-fast manner that leads to optimized solutions for implementation.
Supporting the work team in defining complex system integrations and associated logic and workflows to support the development of a to-be process.
Key liaison with the IT function for technology solutions and product requirements for data analytics.

Qualifications
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Required Education:
A Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, computer science or engineering.
A background of progressively learning and growing skill set and knowledge that supports success in the role.
Lean / Six-Sigma certification.
Required Experience:
Ten (10) years of experience or more in leading the design and development of supply chain solutions in a company that is part of the healthcare supply chain.
Proven capability to analyze large data sets using PowerBI, QLIK or other SQL based analytic tools.
Exceptional understanding of systems architecture, ETL and data flow.
Working with various stakeholder functions within the healthcare supply chain including healthcare providers, manufacturers, GPO's and/or distributors.
Hands-on experience in a healthcare setting with direct contact with healthcare providers.
