The Operations Technology Manager - Data Historian, is responsible for the maximizing the value of the data historian system for the business. This position will work closely with operations customers and IT owners to develop strategies for effective standardization and capabilities for the data historian system. The role will support improved user and system capabilities and improve end customer ability to link data to action. They will also be responsible for sustainable training and training standardization supporting data historian effectiveness. This role is pivotal in supporting Mosaic's overall decision-making and operation efficiency through effective use of data historian systems.

What will you do?


  • Develop short/medium/long term success roadmap focused on effective system design and data contextualization.

  • Partner with IT to develop overall data historian governance standards including IT/OT roles/responsibilities, business standards.

  • Deliver effective Asset Framework design standards/strategies.

  • Support initiatives and deliverables that increase adoptions rat.

  • Establish and implement training standards for formalized data historian user personas.

  • Management and configuration of the PI system including: PI Interface, PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, PI Analysis, PI Notifications, PI Event Frames, Asset tag, hierarchies, templates, and taxonomy

  • Coordinate with IT partners on PI system updates, upgrades, licensing, and utilization.

  • Support system and database configuration (i.e., automation of workflow)

  • Improve process for issue reporting and manage data historian enhancement and bug intake.

  • All other assigned duties.

What do you need for this role?


  • Bachelor's degree required. Computer and information Science or Engineering is preferred.

  • 10 years of substantial experience with data historian visualizations

  • Demonstrated capability in BI reporting and Dashboard development.

  • Proficiency with MS Office products

  • Experience with data historian systems including back-end structure and front-end user-use cases.
