Job Summary

As an Analyst 2, you will be part of the MDU Finance and Operations team supporting the Communities Sales channel. This role will involve managing the month-end close process, forecasting, and budgeting, with a strong focus on revenue, expenses, and subscriber reporting. The ideal candidate will leverage analytical skills to provide insights and recommendations that support the Sales team and drive business performance.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasts and budgets.


• Prepare financial models to evaluate potential business scenarios and strategies.


• Generate and analyze reports related to revenue streams, operating expenses, and subscriber metrics.


• Maintain ROI modeling that is used vet the financial viability of customer deals


• Conduct ad hoc analyses as requested by the Sales team and other stakeholders.


• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.


• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.


• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.


• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
