JOB DESCRIPTION

PC12 Pilot On-Call

Position: PC12 Pilot Department: Pilots

Classification: On-Call Reports to: PC12 Program Manager

Summary

Reporting to the PC-12 Program Manager, the PC-12 Pilot is responsible for the operation and safety of the aircraft and safety of all persons on board. For this purpose, the PC-12 Pilot will have final authority for the disposition of the aircraft during the time in which they are in command. The Pilot ensures that all flights are conducted in accordance with company policy, company Flight Operations Manual, and applicable CFR's.

  • Conduct company support flights in accordance with company standard operating procedures, flight operations manual and FAA regulations.
  • Maintain and upgrade own pilot skills and proficiency to ensure compliance to company and FAA requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations as they pertain to company operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of assigned company aircraft.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate and liaise with staff and external customers.



Required Education and Experience

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate - ASEL
  • Instrument Rating
  • 2000 Hours PIC
  • 100 hours PIC in the preceding 12 months
  • 100 hours night flying
  • 300 hours PIC under IFR (actual and/or simulated)
  • 300 hours PIC in PC12
  • Must meet the recent flight experience requirements of FAR Parts 61.56 and 61.57(a) and instrument currency requirements of FAR Part 61.57(c) or (d).
  • Candidate must have and maintain a valid Second-Class Medical Certificate.

Preferred Education and Experience


  • Completion of PC12 initial training and certificate.

None.

Work Environment

This job operates in a aircraft flight operations and hangar environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, iPads and instrument panels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with frequent periods of moderately loud noises. Exposure to weather elements, industrial chemical smells, fragrances, animals, etc.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds loading equipment into aircraft. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Regular exposure to a hangar environment with walking/traversing hazards, uneven surfaces and stairs.

Job Abilities:

Move, traverse - Must be able to move about inside aircraft, hangar with frequent trip/fall and overhead hazards.

Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse, Balance - Constantly ascends/descends ladders, platforms and work stands. Must be able to maintain equilibrium.

Position self (to), Move - Constantly positions self in work environment.

Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information - Must be able to frequently communicate accurate information and a level of assertiveness to stop unsafe activities when recognized.



Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part time on-call position. Days and hours of work will vary based upon business needs. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.


Travel


  • Rotational Schedule with CFR Part 135 duty-time and flight-time limitations.
  • Domicile in Spokane, Washington. Remaining overnight may be required in the field, for which standard per diem rates apply.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Valid Driver License

Must pass the Spokane Internation Airport security program and training.

Valid Passport

The pay range for this position in Washington state is $600.00 per day; The rate is influenced by a variety of factors including, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, and geographical locations.
