This position is responsible for intermediate operative general labor such as operating machinery, heavy lifting and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Tasks
Skilled positions consist of the use of knives, hooks, and wearing proper PPE. All skilled positions include physical work that can be subject to standing at a table/elevated platform for eight hours or more, and/or working on a moving table or chain. The work environment for these positions is subject to be cold, hot, or humid conditions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to work on a moving chain or table and in both hot and cold environments.
Skilled positions require the ability to work with knives and hooks.
The role includes pushing, lifting, and pulling weights up to 80 lbs, and the use of physical force when pushing, pulling, and lifting.
Candidates must be willing to use and properly wear all required PPE and stand for 8 hours per shift.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.
Requirements:
Must have 1 month of experience in 1 of the following jobs:
PROCESSING: Pull Clod, Bone Chuck, Bone Arm, Bone Rib, Pull Tenders, Pull 13th Rib, Pull Finger/Button Bones, Bone Tops, Seam Rounds.
