SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for maintaining high production quality and yields while ensuring the safest working environment possible. This position requires an essential understanding and control of the production process, accurate record keeping, and general line maintenance and staffing.
Job tasks to include:
Checking daily production orders to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.
Ensuring proper shipment and on-time delivery to customers.
Ensuring 100% order fill rate.
Ensuring every warehouse position is filled before start-up of production.
Overseeing Team Members morning exercises.
Overseeing job rotation to facilitate ergonomics.
Ensure all workstations have passed appropriate inspections.
Promoting safety daily as well as through monthly safety meetings.
Ensuring accurate shipment rotations of inventory.
Proper coding of products.
Responsible for knowing and communicating company benefits to Team Members.
Provide encouragement to Team Members to build the best team possible.
Perform human relations functions such as training, retention, and counseling on personal and professional concerns.
Overseeing various processing operations.
Working with supervisors in solving problems.
Keeping records of reworked or returned product.
Provide continuous education on the importance of quality.
Familiarity with import/export requirements and procedures.
Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or 3-5 years relevant experience in materials or logistics in a manufacturing environment.
Able to work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
Competency with Microsoft Office applications.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
