The ideal Process Specialist is an analytical and meticulous analytical person with strong technical skills in process mapping and improvement methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma. They possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. They are organized, purposeful, and adaptable, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while driving measurable improvements in efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with internal management to analyze current processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Design and map new processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop process improvement strategies.
Implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting as needed.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, SOPs, and guidelines.
Provide training and support to employees on new processes and best practices.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with established processes and KPI’s.
Utilize data analytics to measure process performance and identify trends.
Lead and participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing process efficiency.
Perform and support inspections and testing.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in process management methodologies.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma
4+ years of related experience
Experience with ISO 9001
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Proven experience in process analysis, design, and optimization
Ability to develop process flows and work instructions.
Ability to author reports, business correspondence and instructions.
Ability to present information to managers, clients, suppliers, peers, and employees.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
Strong project management skills and mindfulness
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
