HR Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

Purpose of the HR Analyst is to focus on HR compliance and project management.  Responsible to ensure the company adheres to federal and state standards and script in-house policies accordingly.  Responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters and is well-versed in guidelines and corporate governance best practices. Execute and manage projects in an independent manner including acquisition analysis and others as assigned by management. Professional, high ethical standards with the goal of preserving the company’s integrity and ensuring an ethical course in daily business as well as during acquisition or when opening greenfield locations. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  1. Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies

  2. Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

  3. Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

  4. Draft, modify and implement company policies and employee handbook to remain compliant in all states/locations.

  5. Collaborate with management to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations

  6. Assess the business’s future acquisition to identify possible compliance risks and ensure due diligence has been met and maintained.

  7. Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.

  8. Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

  9. Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate

  10. File state licensing and ensure local regulations are met and maintained when opening a greenfield location or in acquisition

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Well organized person with strong administrative and good interpersonal skills. A person who is very dependable, and who can work independently. In-depth knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulations with the ability to see complexities of procedures and regulations.

 

            Education and Experience:


  1. High School diploma or equivalent

  2. Relevant degree/certification preferred

  3. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  1. The ability to get work done quickly and properly.

  2. Must have good technology, interpersonal, and organizational skills

  3. Working knowledge of state employment laws and regulations
