Slalom Los Angeles is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and progressive leader to drive Salesforce services and client success with our Los Angeles-based clients. The Salesforce Leader will provide thought leadership to our enterprise and mid-market clients, set strategic direction for the Salesforce practitioners, and own accountability for the quality execution of business and technology consulting services across all Salesforce engagements. We are open to hiring at the Principal or Senior Principal level.

What You'll Do



Accountability for the Salesforce practice - e.g., driving quality, sales, recruiting, account management, consulting delivery, and operational aspects, including:


Practice Building


  • Drive account growth through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership.

  • Own direct revenue responsibility of $1m+ for Principal level and $2.5m+ for Sr. Principal level.

  • Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Salesforce offerings.

  • Build and develop relationships with Salesforce and own joint sales pursuits.

  • Drive business development with the proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering.

  • Maintain awareness of industry leading practices and business levers for cloud offerings and understand how Slalom's practice areas interact.

Engagement Delivery


  • Conduct requirements discovery and design scalable solutions to meet client needs.

  • Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.

  • Provide oversight and governance of sold and managed Salesforce projects.

  • Oversee quality assurance of project delivery.

Team & Individual Development


  • Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.

  • Assign practice area development tasks when Consultants are between projects.

  • Develop and deliver leading practices, delivery templates, and point-of-view papers. Create reusable collateral for sales and delivery accelerators.

  • Develop case studies and training materials; conduct brown bags and provide guidance for the Salesforce Practice.

  • Responsible for people/career management and project staffing.

  • Support recruiting and onboarding of new employees.


What You'll Bring



  • Experienced as a professional services leader in a large consulting environment.

  • Functional understanding of Salesforce with demonstrated ability in Salesforce solution architecture and implementation.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce platform configuration, flows, process builder, and reporting.

  • Expert at project delivery who can perform all aspects of program management and articulate a mature delivery methodology to clients and team members. As a bonus, also has technical skills such as an engineering background, technical architecture, and hold their own with client technical teams.

  • Active Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, etc.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously, preferably within agile environments.

  • Expert in the realm of business development as well as business operations (e.g., invoicing, SOWs, margins, utilization).

  • Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow through on projects.

  • Strong work ethic with the proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, highly innovative environment.

  • Experience with managing and leading people, including mentoring and coaching skills.

Compensation and Benefits



Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $133,000 to $206,000 for Principal and $153,000 to $237,000 for Senior Principal. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
