Summary:



Responsible for various Service Lines of the Cardiac and Vascular Interventional (CVI) Suites. Leads, organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work for cardiovascular clinical and interventional services in the CVI Suites, covering all age groups and service lines including Coronary, Interventional, Neuro Interventional, Peripheral Vascular, Hybrid Vascular and Surgical, and Electrophysiology.



Responsibilities:



Serves as a leader and resource to staff, including Medical Staff, regarding CVI and MHS policies, procedures and services.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to assist with problem identification and resolution, financial aspects including cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.Initiates financial analysis and provides meaningful information. Anticipates financial problems before they occur and will address with support departments. Involves staff in financial improvement initiatives through audit and remediation if needed.Facilitates the development, implementation and evaluation of the department's services and initiatives. Facilitates the development and compliance of clinical practice standards and measurable outcomes based on performance evaluation and research to ensure quality and safety.Prioritizes multiple tasks and delegates work commensurate with knowledge, skill and experience. Delegates effectively while organizing people and resources for efficiency, safety, and success of the overall CVI. Ensures the work is performed appropriately. Demonstrates proficiency and knowledge in all aspects of care related to area of specialization.

Additional Job Information:



Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. May require odd shifts or weekend coverage as well as on call availability. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years clinical experience in a large specialty invasive lab or equivalent. Other Information: **Florida licensure and Registration as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or a Registered Nurse or related certification/licensure.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or RN program or Cardiovascular Tech program or In a job related field.Additional Credential Info: PALS required for Peds (JDCH)
