The Tulane Center for Translational Research in Infection and Inflammation (CITRII) invites applications for a non-tenure track position, at the rank of Assistant Professor, Research in the area of lung immunology. The successful candidate will join a dynamic Center with state of the art facilities including cell sorting, imaging, and single cell sequencing. The applicant will work in models of lung infection and inflammation and should have prior track records of excellence in immunology including experience with flow cytometry. The position will also be responsible for mentoring trainees in the center. There will also be opportunities for career development including the development of an independent research program and grant writing/submission.
Qualifications: 1. Ph.D. in Immunology or Microbiology or related discipline. 2. Experience working with and teaching graduate students. Post-doctoral training in models of lung disease is preferred.
