Principal Purpose of Position: To contribute to the operations as a Warehouse Associate and a Driver depending on the day-to-day business need.
Pull part purchases from stock and deliver to drivers.
Stock incoming parts and return parts.
Maintain inventories of all inventoried items (controlled and/or non-controlled).
Bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.
Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.
Gather and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
Unload delivery trucks.
Able to lift heavy boxes.
Able to operate a forklift.
Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Load, secure, and deliver automobile parts (engines, transmissions, small parts, etc.) to customers
Drive to customer locations and off load and reload truck. Loading is performed with a pallet jack or forklift.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs. without assistance
Must be able to drive vehicles 7000-33000 GVW.
Use Scanner/print pad to Scan/log returned goods; track delivery of goods and returns
Check-in finished goods before loading vehicle
Perform daily DOT safety check/inspection on vehicle and report deficiencies to manager
Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
High school diploma or equivalent
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Warehousing and forklift experience preferred
Truck driving
Technology hardware and based software systems (PC, laptop, tablet, smart phone)
Relevant Work Experience:
Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, and commercial truck driving and/or warehouse operations
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
Ability to monitor, identify and communicate challenges with workflow
Problem solving regarding the inventory management and movement of goods
Identify risks with regards to OSHA and Hazmat compliance
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills- able to communicate problems/delays with pick-ups/deliveries/inventory to internal stakeholders (sales, management, etc.)
Customer service focused attitude.
Accountable for compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations
Warehouse Organization
Operate vehicle in compliance with all state and federal safety and administrative requirements

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $18.15 - $24.51 USD per hour.
