RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Scrum Master.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team, particularly someone with a strong background in claims and billing processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with PI (Program Increment) planning. As a Scrum Master, you will guide and support our teams in the adoption of Agile practices, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews


• Lead and coordinate PI planning sessions to align teams on objectives and deliverables


• Coach and mentor team members on Agile practices and principles


• Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress, especially in the context of claims and billing workflows


• Work closely with Product Owners to prioritize the product backlog and ensure clear communication of requirements related to claims and billing


• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team


• Track and report on team progress, metrics, and deliverables, specifically in claims and billing projects


• Support the development and implementation of Agile best practices across the organization


• Build a trusting and safe environment where team members feel comfortable to share their ideas and concerns

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)


• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification


• 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment, with specific experience in claims and billing processes


• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)


• Experience with PI planning and large-scale Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe) is a plus


• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
