JOB SUMMARY

Jabil is at the forefront of the Hyperscale market, an industry experiencing rapid growth and transformation. With over 100+ manufacturing sites globally and cutting-edge design and engineering capabilities, Jabil is uniquely positioned to support and accelerate the industry's expansion. We are seeking experienced sales professionals with 8-10 years of experience in the EMS/CM industry, particularly focused on this dynamic market. Typically, the sales are more consultative than transactional in which the purchase decision is complex and long, value is the key, and focus is on the solution. Relationships at the leadership or executive level within key targets is critical to this strategy.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Business Strategy and Direction:
·         Define, develop and implement a sales strategy, which contributes to the corporate sales' strategic direction.
·         Develop trust with customer or potential customer.
·         Understand the Jabil selling process: Prospecting; Pre-approach-planning the sale; Approach; Need Assessment; Presentation; Meeting Objections; Gaining commitment; and Follow-up.
·         Qualify new potential customers with guidance from Sr. Management, Sector VPs, and Business Development.
·         Responsible for customer satisfaction and good client relationships.
·         Develop an understanding of the Work Cell and business unit strategies as it pertains to sales.
·         Work closely with Business Development, Operations, and legal groups for quote and contract development.
·         Knowledge of Salesforce and its use to target new customers.
·         Provide regular updates to VP of sales and marketing team on the execution of the strategy.

Forecast Development and Accuracy:
·         Prepare timely forecasts for the sales department.
·         Provide expense budgets when required.
·         Compare forward forecast results to historical actual results for trend assessment and analysis.

Technical Responsibilities:  This is a highly technical Sales role with previous technical experience in the Hyperscale market preferred.
·         Create customer /product penetration strategies and the deployment of such for new accounts.
·         Interpret and communicate customer requirements to enable development of services and operational capabilities to support new customers and business opportunities.
·         Develop RFQ analysis and present formal presentation to customer; ensure key financial measures are achieved within each quote, including profitability and RONA targets.
·         Promote Jabil’s capabilities, footprint and services to new customers.
·         Lead commercial negotiations with new customers.
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Market Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Hyperscale sector, leveraging Jabil's comprehensive manufacturing and engineering services.


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations.


  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that address customer challenges in the Hyperscale pace.


  • Technical Expertise: Collaborate closely with Jabil’s design and engineering teams to offer customers innovative and customized solutions that align with market trends and technological advancements.


  • Global Coordination: Work with Jabil’s global network of manufacturing sites to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial design through to final delivery.


  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management and making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.


  • Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the Hyperscale sector, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies.

Qualifications:



  • Experience: 8-10 years of sales experience in the EMS/CM industry, with a strong focus on the Hyperscale market.  


  • Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets, with a history of driving revenue growth in a highly competitive market.


  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of manufacturing processes, design, and engineering principles as they relate to the EMS/CM industry.


  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences including top management, public groups, and Boards of Directors.


  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating with cross-functional teams across multiple regions.


  • Customer-Centric: Strong customer focus, with a commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs and delivering exceptional service.


  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing industry, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.


  • Travel Requirements:  Willingness to travel world-wide 30%-50% of the time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·         Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
·         Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
·         Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
·         Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
·         Ability to tailor advanced quality tools training to all levels of the organization. Multilingual preferred.
·         Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
·         Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
·         Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
·         Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
·         Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
·         Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
·         Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management of continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
·         Strong and convincing communication skills.
·         Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area; MBA preferred; 5 years of experience in a sales/marketing management position or relevant Jabil experience preferred, or a combination of education, experience and/or training. Prior contract manufacturing sales experience highly preferred.
