Known for its presentation of a wide variety of events from the latest popular concerts and Broadway attractions to university ceremonies and conference events, IU Auditorium is a 3,200-seat proscenium venue that has been a model of campus and community programming and engagement since it opened in 1941. We are excited to bring into our Auditorium family a dynamic team member who can uphold our reputation of providing expert and professional service.
Job Summary
Our box office is the front line of our operations. We are looking for focused, well-spoken, charismatic students to join our team.

Sells tickets in-person
Processes orders
Answers questions about events
Provides extraordinary customer service.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Sales or customer service experience
SKILLS
Required
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to interact and communicate with a wide variety of people
Comfortable giving phone customer service
Proficient using technology
Working Conditions / Demands
This position requires the ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time during shifts and the ability to move up to 10 pounds. This role also requires the capacity to work with other student staff members.

$11.50 per hour

Work Hours
Student employees work an average of 10-20 hours per week including shifts during the day and/or evenings based on events and shows at various venues. Positions are continuous year-round.
