MAINTAINS AND UPGRADES ALL HOSPITAL ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. PERFORMS ELECTRICAL TESTING OF ELECTRIC EQUIPMENT TO ENSURE THAT JCAHO AND OTHER STANDARDS ARE MET.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
INSTALLS, REPAIRS, REPLACES AND TESTS ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS AND EQUIPMENT SYSTEMS ARE HEATING, VENTILATING AND AIR CONDITION AND EMERGENCY POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENT.
READS AND INTERPRETS BLUEPRINTS AND INSTALLS WIRING TO THEIR SPECIFICATIONS.
ESTIMATES COST OF ELECTRICAL JOBS.
REQUESTS ADMINISTRATIVE PERMITS FOR INSTALLATION.
TESTS EQUIPMENT FOR GOVERNMENT INSPECTOR UPON COMPLETION OF WORK.
PERFORMS ALL WORK IN A NEAT AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR PROJECT SUPPORT AND SHIFT COVERAGE.

Qualifications
HIGH SCHOOL OR VOCATIONAL/TRADE SCHOOL GRADUATE.
5 YEARS EXPERIENCE READING BLUE PRINTS.
JOURNEYMAN'S LICENSE REQUIRED.
DEMONSTRATES KNOWLEDGE OF MASS. AND NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE.
