Ardurra is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer / Geologist / Scientist to join our Corpus Christi, TX team.
Primary Function:
The ideal candidate will have previous consulting experience, be able to work in both field and office environments. The Environmental Professional will report to and work with Project Managers to support existing and future work.
Primary Duties:
Prepare environmental documents pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) including environmental impact statements (EISs), Environmental Assessments (EAs), Categorical Exclusions (CEs).
Prepare applications and supporting documents for environmental permits (such as stormwater, wastewater, solid waste, and wetlands).
Perform environmental site assessments and environmental constraints studies.
Develop environmental plans such as SWPPP and SPCC.
Interface and coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies.
Plan, organize, and conduct field work such as soil and groundwater sampling.
Collect project related data, which may include field investigations, site assessments, map reviews, etc.
Assist Project Manager in project coordination with clients, government agencies, subconsultants, and other design engineers for various projects.
Proposal writing, data collection and analysis, and report writing.
Perform tasks for various projects within the time constraints established in the contract.
Perform business development duties with current and potential clients.
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager from time to time.

Quickly interpret and apply understanding of various federal, state and/or local environmental regulatory programs and requirements.
Ability to research and utilize available resources to develop conclusions and recommendations.
