Responsibilities
Manage construction project and operations, to include, supervision of personnel and resources, project documentation oversight and development and maintenance of client relations.
Materials testing and inspection planning and coordination
Thorough project documentation
Construction engineering, inspection, observation and verification
Traffic control compliance reviews
Construction estimation payment review and recommendation
Review, monitor and evaluate project documentation
Recording of project conditions before and during construction
Manage construction inspectors
Assist in development and execution of marketing plan
Identify candidates, assist in hiring process and manage staff
Attend conferences as company representative
Develop and maintain client relationships
Responsible for business development
Participate in the development of proposals and interviews
Perform other tasks as assigned to help accomplish the Company’s strategic goals
Responsible for: Progress estimates and final estimates throughout the construction project duration
Responsible for: Receiving general instructions regarding assignments and exercising initiative and independent judgment in the solution of work problems
Responsible for: Directing and assigning specific tasks to administrative and field staff and assisting in all phases of the construction project
Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction Management or Inspection of transportation facilities including highways and bridges with FDOT
Proven Project and Client Management skills
H.S. Diploma or GED
Construction Technology or similar degree preferred
Strong written and verbal communication experience
Depending on jurisdiction and client requirement may need to be a licensed P.E., or have the ability to get license within six months of employment
