Job Summary:

Hanford Post Acute, a reputable skilled nursing facility in Hanford, CA, is looking for a dedicated and experienced Part-Time RN Supervisor to join our team. The RN Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and provide high-quality care to our residents, ensuring that all clinical standards and regulations are met. Key Responsibilities:



  • Clinical Oversight: Supervise and support nursing staff in the delivery of resident care, ensuring adherence to all clinical standards, policies, and procedures.


  • Resident Care: Assess and monitor residents' conditions, implement physician orders, and oversee the administration of medications and treatments.


  • Staff Management: Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to the nursing team, assisting with training, scheduling, and performance evaluations as needed.


  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that nursing care is provided in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.


  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including rehabilitation, social services, and dietary, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.


  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident assessments, care plans, and nursing interventions in compliance with regulatory and facility requirements.


  • Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies, incidents, and changes in resident status in a timely and professional manner. Provide guidance and support during urgent situations.


  • Family Communication: Communicate effectively with residents' families regarding care plans, changes in condition, and treatment outcomes to ensure understanding and satisfaction.

Qualifications:


  • Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or higher).


  • Licensure/Certification: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.


  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an RN in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting. Supervisory experience preferred.


  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to handle complex clinical situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.


  • Physical Requirements: Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, standing, and walking.
