Your impact:
ELLE DECOR is seeking a talented design editor with a superb eye to be its new senior market editor. The senior market editor will take the lead on the brand’s home-design coverage by sourcing the best new products in various categories—furniture, fabrics, tabletop, kitchen & bath, and more—to feature in multiple front-of-book columns within each issue and on elledecor.com. Trade show attendance both in New York City and out of town will be required, as will meetings with manufacturer representatives in and out of the office (and virtually). This editor will help write captions and display copy and will bring a strong visual sense and point of view to both the pages of the magazine and to articles on its website.
6–8+ years of experience at a national consumer magazine is essential, with a deep concentration and focus on the home design/shelter category. Above all, creativity and enthusiasm are paramount for this role.

The base salary for this role is between $74,000 and $89,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
