Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team and support the marketing and communications efforts of our construction company. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role ideal for a student or recent graduate with a strong interest in marketing, content creation, and communications within the construction industry. The Marketing Intern will assist with various marketing activities, including content creation, social media management, market research and other tasks.
Essential Job Functions
Content Creation: Develop and edit content for various channels, including social media, website, newsletters, and print materials, to promote our projects, services, and company values.
Social Media Management: Assist with planning, creating, and scheduling posts across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), and engage with followers to build our online presence.
Project Documentation: Support the team in organizing project photos, videos, and testimonials that can be used for marketing materials.
Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audiences to help shape marketing strategies.
Website Updates: Support website content management by updating project information, blog posts, and news articles to keep content fresh and relevant.
Data Collection and Reporting: Track and analyze marketing metrics, providing insights on the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns.
Internal Communications: Help prepare internal newsletters, memos, and other communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
Administrative Support: Provide general support to the marketing team as needed, including organizing files, creating presentations, and assisting with other marketing initiatives.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Strong interest in the construction industry and understanding of the unique marketing needs of B2B companies.
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Experience with graphic design or content creation tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
