The Title:
Warehouse Support Team Member
The Role: As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to CAVA's success , receiving and off-loading truckloads of incoming raw materials and finished goods; maintaining an organized warehouse; picking, packing and shipping sales and transfer orders.
What You will Do:
Receive incoming deliveries and properly warehouse raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of docks, dry warehouse and cold storage rooms.
Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks and pallet jacks, maintaining required safety training and certifications.
Conduct minor preventative maintenance activities on dock and material handling equipment.
Using generated work orders, select raw materials from warehouse locations and deliver to processing floor. Properly scan barcodes and maintain documentation as required.
Pick, pack and palletize outgoing orders and load outbound trucks, ensuring proper documentation
Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values
Show discipline in bringing consistent performance, communication, and attitude to the job every day
Actively contribute to your department in order to complete tasks and meet company goals
Recognize the emotional stake each Team Member has in personal and organizational success of this business
The Qualifications:
2 years experience working in a warehouse environment
2 years experience operating material handling equipment, including forklifts
