Job Description: The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for mechanical equipment and systems. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and other team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed mechanical drawings and schematics based on engineering specifications and requirements.
Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create and modify drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
Review and revise drawings to meet project specifications and standards.
Maintain organized records of all drawings and related documentation.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Mechanical Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience with 3D modeling software.
Previous experience in a similar role.
