This exciting opportunity is full-time and permanent with Converge Technology Solutions, remote based in the Pacific Time Zone. The Network Solutions Architect will work hand-in-hand with our clients while directly supporting the sales team. Your ability to clearly articulate network security solutions and services to our existing client base and prospects is essential. Your involvement in client opportunities will start with the initial client meeting and continue through the design phases of the solution. You must be a self-starter, require minimal supervision and possess strong technical and design knowledge of network and security technology / controls. This position requires excellent communications skills as well as the ability to work as part of a team.

Experience and qualifications we are seeking
5+ years' of networking & security experience with knowledge of associated best practices and technology
3+ years of pre-sales, client facing experience OR equivalent experience as a post-sales consulting engineer with desire to enter pre-sales profession
Network & Security product certifications are a plus
Must be able to quickly learn several products across a wide range of network and security technologies
Strong working knowledge of network and security products; preferred solutions include the following: Aruba, Juniper, Palo Alto
Experience with HPE Aruba Clearpass and/or NAC solution is required
Network areas of focus include but are not limited to, NAC, LAN/WAN design / architecture, SD-WAN, segmentation and wireless
Security areas of focus include but are not limited to, perimeter security, endpoint protection, EDR, MFA, web and DNS security, email protection, etc
Work Environment
Remote within PST time zone, preferably based in CA
Travel for client meetings, 10% - 20%
