About the job:
The selected candidate will support the Operations Team (primarily Project Managers, Production Team Managers, and Manufacturing Engineer) in an assembly and manufacturing environment.
As part of the intern program, you will:
Primary functions will be creating supporting factory layout activities (AutoCAD), time studies, and creating/updating engineering drawings. In addition, the candidate will assist in project coordination and must have basic project management skills.
What you know:
Undergraduate college student (rising junior/rising senior) pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (including Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team environment.
• Competent in the use of CAD (AutoCAD or similar) software.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week through the summer, and potentially fall semester (flexible hours based on school schedule).
