The Lead and Senior Analysts act as IT liaisons for our Manufacturing, Finance, Sales & Trade, and Procurement businesses. In this role you will get to drive insight generation and capability delivery through business and functional requirements. Advocate for broader use and adoption of systems and drive outcome-based conversations across the organization.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document comprehensive business requirements.
Participate in all phases of the systems development lifecycle, using Agile methodologies for project execution and optimization.
Configure and customize software packages (e.g., SAP HANA, AWS S3, Tableau, GCP) to meet business needs.
Develop and execute detailed test plans, ensuring software quality through unit, system, and integration testing.
Cultivate strong business relationships, understanding diverse processes, systems, and terminology.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies, enhancing existing functionalities.
Research, recommend, and implement tools to improve IT solutions delivery and support.
Mentor junior analysts in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and system analysis.
Maintain and enhance systems supporting critical business processes, collaborating with end-users, vendors, and IT peers.
Document and update support procedures to ensure efficient issue resolution and system maintenance.
Focus on meeting departmental key performance indicators for productivity, quality, and customer service.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Experience: 3-7+ years in Information Systems or related field.
Experience in gathering, documenting, and validating integration requirements.
Knowledge of agile management software and processes within Jira or similar agile tooling.
Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to tell the "story."
Ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences including customers, peers, and senior leadership.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Special Skills: Advanced troubleshooting and mentoring capabilities; basic project management skills preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across the team with a growth mindset propensity towards action and learning.
Ability to work independently and set priorities based on key milestones, impact to strategic initiatives, and high-level direction of management.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-paced environment.
Ability to process individual and team performance retrospectively, synthesize lessons learned, and apply new behaviors toward more successful outcomes.
You'll Impress Us If You Have:
Experience with business process modeling.
Experience writing technical documentation.
Understanding of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and integrating with ERP systems.
Basic knowledge of Jira, Micro Focus ALM, Clarity, ServiceNow, or similar.
