Ultimate Staffing is recruiting for a Production Supervisor in Appleton, WI. This is a Direct Hire role, looking to pay between $70-$75K DOE. Qualified candidates must be able to work a rotating schedule of 1 week/shift (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and must be able to work Saturdays. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
Participates in continuous improvement and effectively communicate opportunities to improve efficiencies and effectiveness for this position.
Schedule orders to proper machines
Ensure production floor feedback is accurately recorded in Kiwi system.
Delegate employees to tasks when needed.
Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
Discipline.
Record absenteeism and attendance.
Respond, record, and investigate accidents and administer first aid.
Supply tooling and resources to employees and machines.
Assist scheduling personnel on overtime.
Make decisions of customer orders, maintenance on machines, and employee training.
Recognize good performance and acknowledge employees.
Communicate between departments on customer orders.
Use computer to enter customer orders in machine line-up, check inventory, employee scanning in and out of work, corrugator schedule lineup.
Participate and facilitate communication meetings with employees pertaining to safety, toolbox discussions, daily production walks, preventative maintenance meetings and monthly Crew Leader meetings.
Write up, and/or approve maintenance work orders.
Provides direction and leadership to employees in all departments as needed.
