Volt is immediately hiring for experienced Forklift Operators in DeSoto, Texas.
As a Forklift Operator you will:
Operate cherry picker, stand up reach and sit down forklifts.
Provide parts support to the overhaul of turbine engines and related equipment.
Ensure material is properly stored and pulled from correct inventory location with special attention to overall inventory accuracy.
Move and package parts necessary to support overhaul production.
This is a full time opportunity. We are hiring for the following shifts: Monday - Friday (1st shift): 5am - 1:30 pm and (2nd shift): 1 pm-9:30 pm. 2nd shift must train on 1st shift for 1 week. Lots of overtime available. Must be able to work some weekends if needed for overtime. Positions are long term temp to hire with a company that offers long term growth, stability and a positive and team oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Hands on forklift operating and warehouse experience - experience operating cherry picker, stand up reach and sit down forklifts
Proven job stability
Basic computer skills familiarization.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Can-do attitude.
Ability to pass criminal background and drug screen
Pay Rate: $17-20/hr
