Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily work and run schedules.
- Confer with operations or supervising personnel to address questions, problems, or requests for service
- Relay work orders, messages, or information to or from work crews, supervisors, or field personnel, using telephones or two-way radios.
- Record and maintain files or records of requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, or other dispatch information.
- Prepare pay applications for construction review.
- Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required, according to work orders or specifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Construction Industry experience required, plus 5+ years' experience in a trucking / dispatch environment.
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of construction equipment preferred
- Knowledge of construction scheduling processes and production time management preferred
- Able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects
