This job will have the following responsibilities:
* General HEDIS experience highly preferred, excel, outlook and customer service. * Candidates can be located anywhere but must adhere to training hours (EST)* Candidates must be flexible in hours. * Hours: 8am-4:30 pm * Responsible for providing administrative and telephonic support for department working on a data collection project in a fast paced environment in order to meet deadlines within the project.* Working at a fast pace this candidate must communicate directly with provider offices in pursuit process by requesting medical record information and coordinating the exchange of files. *Must be able to maintain fax equipment and support the Level I Service Associate and team by performing all the required clerical activities within the project requirements. * An understanding of the Medical record filing system within the department is required. * A high degree of professional telephonic dialog is maintained at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
EDUCATION: Requires High School diploma and 6 months related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Candidates who have familiarity with medical terminology, customer service, call center background and prior HEDIS experience would have priority for this position.
Candidates must have basic Excel skills and must have the ability to type 30-40 WPM.
